Music began a little later for me than it does for most people who wish to pursue it. I went to college to study golf. Yeah, it's a thing. Little did I know, the same guy that recruited me for golf, would be putting a guitar in my hands a semester later and saying, "Take this home, learn how to play it." That's just what I did and I was addicted. A few months later, that same guy had me sing in front of an audience. I was beyond nervous, forgot the words, it was a mess, but I couldn't wait to come back and prove myself. It fueled me, and sparked a new journey. Since, I have traveled the country and even internationally playing shows at colleges, in bars, country clubs, private parties, weddings, theaters, and more. I made it to the Blind Auditions of The Voice and never got to sing (teams full). Made it through the live shows of America’s Got Talent and then was never aired. Made it to Hollywood Week on American Idol, and never aired. Then my time came, I was asked to be on a new one-of-a-kind, first ever audio only, music competition produced by Audible called, Breakthrough. Judged by Kelly Rowland and Sara Bareilles, Breakthrough is a series of music creation, collaboration, original and cover challenges, and I won the whole thing!
